Alumina Lining Plates
Product Description
Alumina lining plate are protective plates made primarily of alumina, used to protect equipment surfaces from wear. Alumina content is available in grades such as 92%, 95%, and 99%, with higher content resulting in better hardness and wear resistance.
Core Characteristics:
High Hardness: Typically reaches a Mohs hardness of 9, second only to diamond, and several times, even tens of times, stronger than manganese steel.
Strong Wear Resistance: Wear resistance far exceeds that of ordinary metals, extending equipment lifespan by several to tens of times.
Good Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to most acids, alkalis, salts, and solvents.
Excellent High Temperature Resistance: Maintains good physical properties at temperatures above 800°C.
Lightweight: Specific gravity is approximately 3.6-3.8 g/cm³, about half that of steel, reducing equipment load.
Smooth Surface: Reduces frictional resistance and improves material flow efficiency.
