Ceramic Fiber Cloth
Product Information
Ceramic fiber cloth is made from inorganic oxides such as alumina and silicon dioxide, processed into ultrafine fibers with a diameter of 3-5 micrometers through melt-blowing or spun spinning processes. Organic fibers are added as a binder, and glass or stainless steel wire is used to enhance structural strength before weaving the fibers into a cloth. Its core components contain 45%-48% alumina and 0.7%-1.2% ferric oxide.
Performance Characteristics:
(1) High Temperature Resistance: Continuous operating temperature up to 1000℃, short-term operating temperature up to 1260℃.
(2) Good Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity; for example, at 538℃, the thermal conductivity is 0.130 W/m・K, effectively blocking heat transfer.
(3) Strong Thermal Shock Resistance: Excellent thermal shock resistance, able to withstand rapid temperature changes without damage.
(4) High Strength: Good low and high temperature strength; tensile strength is significantly improved after reinforcement with glass fiber or stainless steel wire.
(5) Excellent chemical stability: Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, and able to withstand the molten corrosion of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and zinc.
(6) Environmentally friendly and safe: Non-toxic, harmless, odorless, and has no adverse effects on the environment.
Specifications and Types:
Specifications: Thickness is generally between 1.5mm and 6mm, width is usually 1m, and length can be customized according to requirements.
Types: According to the reinforcing material, it can be divided into nickel-chromium alloy wire reinforced, stainless steel wire reinforced, glass fiber reinforced, etc.; according to the application, it can be divided into ceramic fiber coated cloth, ceramic fiber slag-receiving cloth, ceramic fiber sintering cloth, etc.; according to the fiber type, it can be divided into ordinary ceramic fiber cloth, high-purity ceramic fiber cloth, zirconium-containing ceramic fiber cloth, etc.
