Ceramic Sagger
Saggers are high-temperature refractory containers used to hold, protect, and isolate ceramic products during firing in kilns.
Main categories (by material):
Clay Saggers (Regular Fire Clay): Low cost, wide range of applications, and moderate temperature resistance.
High Alumina/Alumina Saggers (Al₂O₃ 60%–90%): High strength and wear resistance, suitable for heavy loads and higher temperatures.
Corundum Saggers (Al₂O₃ ≥90%, mainly White/Brown Corundum): Highest temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, used for high-end and high-purity products.
