In the field of high-temperature industrial insulation, ceramic fiber blanket stands out as a cost-effective, high-performance solution, widely applied in metallurgy, petrochemicals, power generation, and other industries. Made from high-purity alumina-silica materials through spinning or blowing processes and mechanically needled without binders, it combines excellent thermal resistance, flexibility, and durability, making it an indispensable material for modern thermal management solutions.

The outstanding properties of ceramic fiber blanket are the key to its widespread popularity. First and foremost, it boasts exceptional high-temperature resistance, with classification temperatures ranging from 1100℃ to 1600℃ (2012℉ to 2912℉) depending on the grade, and continuous working temperatures up to 1350℃ for high-end variants, ensuring stable performance even in extreme heat environments. Its ultra-low thermal conductivity (as low as 0.09 W/M.K at 400℃) effectively reduces heat loss, improving energy efficiency and cutting fuel consumption by 20-40% in industrial applications.

Lightweight and flexible, the blanket is 70% lighter than traditional refractories, making installation effortless—even for complex shapes like furnace walls, pipes, and expansion joints. It features excellent thermal shock resistance, with linear shrinkage less than 3% at maximum operating temperatures, avoiding damage from rapid temperature fluctuations. Additionally, it is binder-free, non-combustible, and has good chemical stability, resisting most corrosive agents (except strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid) and ensuring no outgassing during use, which enhances safety and environmental friendliness. It also offers sound absorption and noise reduction functions, further optimizing the working environment.

To meet diverse industrial needs, ceramic fiber blanket comes in standardized specifications with flexible customization options. In terms of density, common options are 96, 128, and 160 kg/m³ (6-10 lb/ft³), with some grades available at 64 kg/m³ for lightweight requirements, balancing insulation performance and weight efficiency. The thickness ranges from 6mm to 50mm (0.25-2 inches), where thinner 6-10mm blankets suit tight spaces, 20-25mm ones balance performance and volume, and 50mm ones provide maximum heat retention for ultra-high temperature scenarios.

In terms of dimensions, standard rolls are 7200/3600mm in length, 610/1220mm in width, and can be customized up to 16000mm in length and 1830mm in width according to project needs. Chemically, the main components are alumina (Al₂O₃) and silica (SiO₂), with a total content of 96-99% for most grades; zirconium-containing grades add 5-17% ZrO₂ to enhance high-temperature stability, with Al₂O₃+SiO₂+ZrO₂ reaching 99%. The tensile strength is 0.04-0.12 MPa (density 128kg/m³), ensuring structural integrity during installation and use.

Whether for furnace linings, boiler insulation, pipe protection, or fireproof seals, ceramic fiber blanket delivers reliable performance, energy savings, and long service life. Its versatile properties and customizable specifications make it the first choice for high-temperature insulation across industries. Choose our ceramic fiber blanket to optimize your thermal management system, reduce operational costs, and achieve sustainable development.
