1. The wheel band is cracked or broken
Cause:
(1) The center line of the cylinder is not straight, the wheel band is overloaded.
(2) The support wheel is not adjusted correctly, the skew is too large, causing the wheel band to be partially overloaded.
(3) The material is poor, the strength is insufficient, the fatigue resistance is poor, the cross section is complex, it is not easy to cast, there are pores, slag inclusions, etc.
(4) The structure is unreasonable, the heat dissipation conditions are poor, and the thermal stress is large.
Troubleshooting method:
(1) Regularly correct the center line of the cylinder, correctly adjust the support wheel, so that the wheel band is evenly stressed.
(2) Use high-quality steel casting, choose a simple cross section, improve the casting quality, and choose a reasonable structure.
2. Cracks appear on the surface of the support wheel, and the wheel width breaks
Cause:
(1) The support wheel is not adjusted correctly, the skew is too large; the support wheel is unevenly stressed and partially overloaded.
(2) The material is poor, the strength is insufficient, the fatigue resistance is poor, the casting quality is poor, there are sand holes, slag inclusions.
(3) The support wheel and the shaft are not concentric after assembly, and the interference is too large when the support wheel is assembled.
Troubleshooting method:
(1) Correctly adjust the supporting wheel and use high-quality materials for casting.
(2) Improve the casting quality, turn again after assembly, and select a reasonable interference.
3. Kiln body vibration
Cause:
(1) The cylinder is bent too much, the supporting wheel is emptied, and the meshing clearance of the large and small gears is incorrect.
(2) The spring plate and interface bolts of the large gear ring on the cylinder are loose and broken.
(3) The matching clearance between the transmission bearing bush and the journal is too large or the bearing seat connection bolts are loose, the transmission pinion has a shoulder, the supporting wheel is excessively skewed, and the anchor bolts are loose.
Troubleshooting method:
(1) Correctly adjust the supporting wheel, correct the cylinder, adjust the meshing clearance of the large and small gears, tighten the connecting bolts, and re-rivet the loose rivets.
(2) When the kiln is stopped, repair the refractory bricks, adjust the matching clearance between the bush and the journal, tighten the bearing seat connection bolts, chisel the platform shoulder, re-adjust the supporting wheel, and tighten the anchor bolts.
4. Overheating of the support roller bearing
Cause:
(1) The center line of the kiln body is not straight, which causes the support roller to be overloaded, local overload, excessive tilt of the support roller, and excessive thrust of the bearing.
(2) The cooling water pipe in the bearing is blocked or leaking, the lubricating oil is deteriorated or dirty, and the lubricating device fails.
Troubleshooting method:
(1) Regularly calibrate the center line of the cylinder, adjust the support roller, inspect the water pipe, and clean it.
(2) Inspect the lubricating device and bearing, and replace the lubricating oil.
5. Wire drawing of the support roller bearing
Cause: There are hard pimples or slag inclusions in the bearing, iron filings, small pieces of clinker or other hard debris fall into the lubricating oil.
Troubleshooting method: Replace the bearing, clean the lubricating device and bearing, and replace the lubricating oil.
