Product Information
Ceramic fiber yarn is a flexible, refractory textile material made primarily from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃)-silica (SiO₂) ceramic fibers through a spinning process. It can be used alone or as a weaving substrate (e.g., for weaving ceramic fiber ropes, cloths, and tapes). Depending on performance requirements, some products may incorporate reinforcing materials such as glass fiber or stainless steel wire to enhance tensile strength and durability. The raw material purity is typically ≥90%, ensuring high-temperature stability.
Key Performance Advantages:
Superior High-Temperature Resistance: Continuous operating temperature can reach 1000-1100℃; it can withstand short-term (≤30 minutes) temperatures up to 1260℃. It does not melt or burn under high-temperature conditions and releases no toxic gases, far exceeding the heat resistance limits of traditional materials such as glass fiber and asbestos.
Excellent thermal insulation and chemical stability: Low thermal conductivity (≤0.12W/(m・K) at room temperature), effectively blocking heat transfer; resistant to corrosion from most acids, alkalis, salts, and organic media, except for hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid, and strong alkalis; resistant to aging and deterioration with long-term use.
Good flexibility and processability: The yarn is soft and easily bent, allowing for cutting, twisting, or weaving as needed, suitable for the production of textile products of different specifications (e.g., fine yarn for precision seals, coarse yarn for heavy-duty thermal insulation materials); it fits tightly against equipment surfaces during installation without the risk of cracking.
Low shrinkage and environmental friendliness: Linear shrinkage rate ≤3% at high temperatures (1000℃×24h), maintaining shape stability over a long period; free of asbestos, heavy metals, and other harmful substances, suitable for green industrial production requirements.

Application
Textile Substrate: As a core raw material, it is used to weave ceramic fiber cloth, tapes, ropes, sleeves, and other products, suitable for industrial sealing and heat insulation applications (such as kiln door sealing tapes and pipe insulation ropes).
High-Temperature Sealing and Filling: Directly used for filling gaps in industrial furnaces and boiler flues, or wrapped around the surfaces of high-temperature valves and flanges, replacing traditional asbestos ropes and improving sealing and heat insulation effects.
Special Protection: Made into high-temperature resistant protective yarns for use as linings in firefighter protective clothing and heat-resistant gloves in the metallurgical industry, or as filling materials in high-temperature areas of aerospace equipment to block heat transfer.
Electronics and New Energy: Used in the weaving of sealing gaskets for lithium battery cathode material sintering furnaces and photovoltaic silicon wafer annealing furnaces, or as high-temperature insulating wrapping materials for electronic components to ensure stable equipment operation.
