What Is Recrystallized Silicon Carbide Plate
Recrystallized Silicon Carbide Plate (RSiC plate) is a premium advanced ceramic kiln shelf, sintered from high-purity SiC powder at ultra-high temperature without sintering additives. The material forms self-bonded structure through evaporation and condensation recrystallization. With SiC content above 99%, it can continuously work up to 1650°C. Unlike reaction bonded SiC, it contains free silicon and delivers stable mechanical strength under long-term high-heat conditions. It is widely used as kiln setter plate for high-temperature firing processes.
